Far back, in the time of Yao (a virtuous emperor in ancient Chinese fables), ten suns rose into sky. The bow, used by Hou Yi is named as “Shooting Sun Bow”, due to its special materials and complicated casting process, it’s hard for normal people to drive it. So, emperor Jun waited for 60 years to enroll Hou Yi to serve him. And with super perseverance and fortitude, Hou Yi successfully had this historical event done and realized the human happiness.

FIYTA and the Art & Design School of Tsinghua University have jointly held “FIYTA Cup Watch Design Competition” annually since 2003. After 3 years development the competition has become more and more mature and turns to be the innovation base for industrial design and cradle for training engineers. The design idea for “Hour Yi’s magic bow” Tourbillon is just derived from the work honored as Silver Award in the first design competition.

After making a breakthrough in the design concept of the honored work and making a revolutionary innovation on the myth of Hou Yi, the FIYTA design team has worked out the “Hou Yi’s Magic Bow” Tourbillon Watch, which has a great structure feeling and valuable for collection. The bottom of this unique watch is a bow, which looks like wings, symbolizing limitless reserved power that ready to go ahead. As to the structure design, the watch head can be pushed out and be rotated in 360 degrees. This particular design making the watch more user-friendly and easier to access while engaging in a sport and driving, which provide great convenience to wearers as well as noblest identity with its humanity structure design, super technology and perfect design ides.

The design about “Hou Yi Shot Suns”

Housing in stainless steel case, the self-made FIYTA Tourbillon is visible through the opening in the dial at “6”, which will bring you aesthetic feeling in vision. The watchcase of “Hou Yi’s Magic Bow” is designed in two parts, namely the base and the head. There is a button on the base enchased with blue stones. The navigation era brought a sharp increase to the world trade and was good for nationalism development. To some extent the history of navigation is a history of human civilization.

The Tourbillon Watch has special inherent sprint and unique characteristic. The design idea comes from the navigation civilization and culture and the Lateen sail. The “Astrolabe” on the dial, which will bring you a strong impulsion for navigating, as if a chart has been rose before you.

Round, simple stainless steel watchcase, white dial with appliqué wave motif in center, blue minute & hour hands sail shaped, every subtlety enable wearer to feel like sailing on the vast and boundless sea, which induced fantastic reveries. Off the engraved dial center, there are refined decorations in steering-wheel shape, which boast stunning noble and elegant, like the royal crown, implying human are able to conquer the sea, as well as expressing great admiration to the navigation culture. The Shift Tourbillon Watch of Limited Edition

There is a great breakthrough in watch design: an eccentric tourbillon, which is located at 9 o’clock, not at 6 o’clock, the normal position. Besides, the crown is shifted to 6 o’clock from 3 o’clock, making the watch seemed to be shifted in 90 degrees, revealing subtly rebellious and magic visual beauty. The blue mother-of-pearl dial with appliqué numbers and blue skeletonized hands will add abundant stereo perception and hierarchy to watch appreciation.

To the convenience of time regulation and winding, FIYTA designed an original pop-up watchcase structure of double layer which also makes the watch more interesting and have dynamic beauty.
